About SE Battery Service

S.E. Battery Service stocks and offers a range of products and services including batteries from SuperCharge, R&J Batteries and Master Instruments as well as a comprehensive range of accessories including NARVA Lighting and PROJECTA Battery Maintainence and a range of vehicle solar equipment and accessories.

A wide range of mobility equipment is also available at S.E. Battery Service including Merits Mobility Equipment, while being a national partner of Aidacare enables us to have a comprehensive range.

S.E. Battery Service first originated in Mount Gambier in 1960 and operated under the name of Blue Lake Batteries before being sold in 1962 and renamed Mount Batteries for the next 18 years.

On January 21, 1980, Mount Batteries was purchased by the current business owners who changed the name to what it is today – S.E. Battery Service Pty Ltd – which makes our company 59 years old, still charged up and going strong.

In 2007 S.E. Battery Service added Mobility Equipment to the vast range of products. This side of the business uses the name S.E. Battery Service Pty Ltd trading as South East Mobility Equipment. In 2020 a range of sensory products were added to the expansive list of battery and mobility products and services and included fidget toys, body socks, chewigems, weighted blankets and an ever changing range of special needs toys.

Starting as a small company of two people selling only batteries we now employ seven staff members and have a comprehensive range of batteries and accessories as well as Mobility Equipment and Solar products.
